Dust
off your deck shoes, ready your sea legs and prepare to party me
hearties as we aweigh anchor and get ourselves in the festival spirit
with a sun-drenched cruise up the River Thames from 2pm to 7pm on July
4.

It’s nothing less than a Green Man tradition so expect a
little debauchery, tomfoolery aplenty and, naturally, some of the
finest musical happenings happening all year.

Hotly-tipped newcomers 6 Day Riot will brew up a must-see “melting pop” of ukelele, violin and all-round acoustic loveliness before the dazzling James Yuill takes it to the (Tower) Bridge with his dynamic and highly danceable Justice-meets-Nick Drake songwriting genius.

We’ll
have a raft (not literally) of disc jockeys spinning top tunes to while
away a lazy Saturday afternoon, including UK electro fiend and uber
producer Serge Santiago and DJs from the legendary London club night Smash & Grab, plus comedy and maybe even a hoola-hooping Elvis to ensure Independence Day goes with a bang.

And
just before we all get sunstroke or scurvy we’ll be back on dry land
for an exclusive after party from 7pm onwards, with fabulous food and
even more beverages at a top-secret London venue yet to be revealed.

So its aboard the good ship Green Man for what promises to be one of the most memorable knees-up you’ll have all year!
